Infants to
17 months

A day at daycare for a 6-week-old to 17-month-old child includes engaging activities like tummy time to build core strength and motor skills, as well as free exploration to encourage curiosity and sensory development. The Cottage supports a parent-led new food introduction diet to ensure a safe and nourishing mealtime experience.

18 months to
3 years

A day at daycare for an 18-month-old to 3-year-old is filled with enriching activities like crafts to develop creativity and fine motor skills, such as painting or gluing. The children are gently introduced to circle time, fostering early social skills and attention span. Outdoor play is an essential part of the day, allowing them to burn off energy while developing gross motor skills through running, climbing, and playing games.

3 years to
5 years

A day at daycare for a 3 to 5-year-old focuses on school readiness and skill-building. Circle time helps develop listening, turn-taking, and group participation while introducing letter sounds, counting, and shapes. Hands-on activities like tracing letters and crafts strengthen fine motor skills, while outdoor play builds coordination. The day balances fun and learning to prepare children for kindergarten.
